Free Store for Teachers - Our Flagship Program
The Free Store for Teachers provides school supplies at no cost to classrooms in the Centennial, David Douglas, Gresham-Barlow, Parkrose, Portland Public, and Reynolds school districts. Classroom teachers at schools that meet the eligibility requirements are eligible to shop.
The Free Store for Teachers has closed for the 2025-26 school year.

About the Free Store
Our largest program is the Free Store for Teachers. The Free Store provides school supplies at no cost to classrooms in the Centennial, David Douglas, Gresham-Barlow, Parkrose, Portland Public, and Reynolds school districts. When a teacher shops at the Free Store, they will find basic school supplies along with books, art supplies, office supplies, incentives, and much more!
The Free Store Impact
Providing free school supplies to under-resourced students and classrooms is only the beginning. The impact on students extends well beyond basic supplies:
- Students have essential supplies needed for daily learning
- Students can take materials home to extend learning
- Financial barriers are reduced for students and families
- Supplies support creative, hands-on projects and classroom activities
- Student interest in learning and class participation increases
- Students feel supported, improving their well-being, self-esteem and confidence
