The Calendar Program gives schools with some of the highest need access to free school supplies. This program is available to teachers working in David Douglas, Parkrose, Portland Public and Reynolds School District at a school with at least 31% of students eligible for free and reduced lunch.
When you register to be part of this program, you will receive a confirmation email that will tell you details about how to shop and will include a shopping calendar. Shoppers will be assigned a color that will correspond to certain weeks during the school year when they will have access to the store. Shoppers will be able to come between 4-8 times a school year depending on the need at their school.
Please note: Our goal is to stretch our resources to reach as many public school children in need as possible. While all school staff and programs provide critical support to students, we are focusing on classroom teachers as the shoppers for the students in their class. This allows us to support more classrooms and provide learning tools for more children in need.
