Do you have some last minute holiday gifts to buy? Consider stopping by the Handmade NW, 7th Annual Formal Holiday Artisans Fair this Saturday! Not only will you find several unique handmade gifts, a portion of your purchase will support students and teachers throughout Portland! We are very excited that for the second consecutive year,Handmade NW chose Schoolhouse Supplies as their nonprofit partner of the fair. On your way out, stop by the gift warp table, our volunteers will be there all day to wrap your present for FREE!
The Formal Holiday Artisans Fair is a unique and elegant craft show experience in which vendors dress up in their fanciest outfits to showcase their skills and craft. As one of the most exciting craft shows of the year, the fair is the perfect event to bring friends and family to enjoy live music and creativity, featuring local handcrafted wares from more than 50 local vendors. The first 100 shoppers in the door receive a goodie bag full of items donated by the vendors.
Handmade NW runs on the philosophy that the NW community supports their goods, so they want support the NW community. To prove their commitment, last year’s fair provided our Free Store for Teachers $1,500 worth of art supplies to enable teachers and students all over Portland to get creative.
Support from Handmade NW extends beyond the craft fair, this week, volunteers from Handmade NW came into Schoolhouse Supplies to prep previously donated canvasses so that they are ready to be reused in classrooms.
