Women in Insurance & Financial Services (WIFS) is a professional organization for women and supporters of women in the financial service and insurance industries.
The association’s membership includes CPAs, tax consultants, financial planners and advisors, insurance executives, and attorneys, among others, and the Portland Metro chapter is the largest in the nation.
Each year, as part of their Annual Dinner, the Portland Metro chapter selects a charity that they believe complements the WIFS mission. Schoolhouse Supplies was delighted to be chosen as the charity for 2014.
Our goal to support an individual school goal is $7400 and — taking that as their challenge — WIFS members raised almost exactly half that amount in one evening. Wow!
Despite an already overwhelming degree of generosity, the members are continuing to raise funds toward the full school goal.
Welcome new Tools for Schools Sponsor! Thank you so much for supporting the kids in Portland Public Schools!
