Make a Gift, Make a Difference, and Win Prizes!

November 20, 2012

facebook headerIt’s the season of thanks and here at Schoolhouse Supplies we’d like to take a moment to thank all of our volunteers, donors, teachers, shoppers, and students that make our mission possible. With your help we’ve already distributed almost 60,000 pencils and 1,700 Free Store shopping trips since our opening day on September 7.  And as it’s the giving season all around Portland, we are thrilled to once again be chosen as a 2012 GIVE!Guide participant by the Willamette Week.

As one of the 110 organizations taking part in 2012 GIVE!Guide, this honor means that when you give to Schoolhouse Supplies through GIVE!Guide, not only will you be supporting thousands of Portland area students and teachers with free school supplies, but you’ll also have a chance to win prizes as our way of thanking you. From VIP pass to Holocene to coupon books, bottles of fine wine, Stumptown Coffee, Widmer Brothers Beer, food, and gift certificates, you can win amazing incentives all while supporting a cause you love. Check our our own special weekly incentives for even more great prizes.

So as we all give thanks this season please join together with Portland’s philanthropic community to support us and receive some great gifts along the way!  And thank all of you for helping Schoolhouse Supplies make a difference in your community.
