Meet The Spellers: Tracy Curtis

Tracy Curtis is Regional President of the Oregon Region for Wells Fargo & Company.  An Executive Vice President, she is responsible for managing the customer service, sales and community involvement activities of almost 1,300 employees at 127 bank branches across Oregon and southwest Washington.  

Ms. Curtis has been in her current position since January 2014. She is the first woman to serve in that role.

Prior to her current appointment, Ms. Curtis was Regional President for the San Francisco market for Wells Fargo for two and a half years.  In that position she was responsible for 41 bank branches and 700 employees.

A native of England, Ms. Curtis began her Wells Fargo career in 1988 as a teller. She later served as a service manager, personal banker, bank manager and district manager. In 2006 Wells Fargo promoted Ms. Curtis to East Bay regional president in northern California.

She volunteers on the boards of Our House, the Portland Business Alliance, the Oregon Bankers Association, the Trail Blazers Foundation, and the Girl Scouts of Oregon & S.W. Washington. She also serves on the Leadership Council of the All Hands Raised Partnership and on the advisory board of the Susan G. Komen organization in Portland. Ms. Curtis served as chair of two fundraising events in 2015: the Cascade AIDS Project’s annual gala and the American Heart Association’s Go Red luncheon. She will serve as the chair of the Our House fundraising event in February 2017.

Some of the awards presented to Ms. Curtis include the Heartfelt Award from Our House, a Global Business Award from Special Olympics, Woman Executive of the Year (large company category) from the Portland Business Journal, Most Influential Women in Business from the San Francisco Business Times; Industry Leader Award from the Professional Business Women of California; the Hero award from The Shanti Project; and a Diversity Champion Award from the Wells Fargo Asian Connection.
Ms. Curtis graduated from the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.
