Want to see cupcake warrior, a news anchorman, our mayor, a killer bread dude and a Dandy Warhol duke it out for Portland’s Spelling Champion? You’re in luck – cause the OnPoint Community Credit Union Celebrity Spelling Bee, benefiting Schoolhouse Supplies is Thursday, January 31, and tickets are on sale now.
This magnificent event will bring our community of supporters together to celebrate Schoolhouse Supplies and our growth and success over the last twelve years. The night includes the Spelling Bee, live music, dinner, drinks, silent auction, raffle and a special appeal to help raise vital funding for Schoolhouse Supplies.
Catch some of the biggest names in Portland’s education, business and entertainment arenas as they vie for the 6-foot tall trophy and bragging rights as Portland’s 2013 Spelling Champ. Be there as judges Byron Beck, Timber Joey and comedian Tyler Hughs weigh judgement on on the mammoth, multisyllabic misadventures of all our Celebrity Spellers and watch one emerge victorious.
