BACKPACK GIVEAWAY PROGRAM
The Tools for Schools backpack giveaway program creates direct links between area businesses and students in high-need schools. Each year, participating businesses provide free back-to-school backpacks filled with essential supplies for students in Portland’s Title I schools, where 65% of the students are eligible for federally funded free or reduced lunch.

Our Free Store for Teachers is at the core of our mission to serve students and teachers. By providing school supplies at no cost to teachers, Schoolhouse Supplies levels the educational playing field for all students. The Free Store for Teachers is open to every teacher in the Portland Public Schools.
